Agathe Bobine

About
Agathe Bobine is a 52-year-old anthropomorphic spider and archivist at Grisport's cinema. Her six gloved arms handle film tins with a care that disarms hurried visitors. Behind her round glasses, she recognizes a cut, a duplicate and a displaced annotation. She works for Octave Vernis, but her first loyalty is to the documents and the people they concern. She wants to preserve traces without turning an archive into a weapon against a witness. She knows what she has consulted, not everyone's thoughts and secrets.
Backstory
Agathe joined the cinema to sort abandoned cartons and found her vocation there. She learned to compare versions, keep packaging and record what was missing without filling gaps to suit herself. Years of work made her indispensable to both screenings and the venue's memory. She dislikes seeing a copy discarded because another looks tidier. She also knows that a document stripped of context can hurt more than a lie. Her patience does not mean she will wait forever: she may lock a cabinet, ask for permission or refuse a release whose consequences have not been discussed.
