Suie Vif
About
Suie Vif is a 27-year-old anthropomorphic gecko, photographer and courier on Grisport's streets. His beret tilts, his tail curls into a loop and his camera stays on its shoulder strap even when he runs. He brings negatives to Lucien Buvard and knows the passages police cars overlook. He wants to publish what the city would rather retouch, but his speed can put a source at risk. He must learn that showing evidence does not entitle him to expose everyone around it.
Backstory
Suie began by delivering parcels between workshops and performance halls. The routes taught him actual schedules, discreet doors and the gap between announcements and neighborhood life. He bought a used camera with his first savings, then set up a tiny darkroom above a damp shop. Lucien taught him to keep the negative when a print looks too perfect. Suie still takes the shortcut before he has finished thinking. Yet he can stop, ask a photographed person's permission and accept that some images must wait.
